Welcoming Munchkin Number Two

This beautiful mommy and I go back to our childhood days. I can vividly remember the day she told me that she would be a new mommy. Her first son, Adrian, was the most adorable baby, and has grown into quite an awesome kiddo (and a super cool big brother). Well, ladies and gentlemen, Kelli has done it again! Her newest bundle of joy, Owen, is such a handsome little man. I am so excited she asked me to capture this time in her life – from bun in the oven to baby in a blanket!

The Blushing Bride

This past weekend, I had the joy of celebrating my lifelong friend as she gets ready to walk down the aisle. In just a few short weeks, Amanda will be joining her love in matrimony. Before we can let that can happen, we had to take a little girls’ trip to Fredericksburg, TX for a final “fling before the ring”! What a cool place! Our day was filled with wine tastings, a vineyard tour, shopping, and dining at local restaurants. This was my first trip to Texas Wine Country, but definitely not my last!

Turing the Tassel

Tanner is a graduating Senior with a love for the outdoors and old western movies. What better way to celebrate the end of a chapter than with a fun photo shoot at Paws for Reflection Ranch?? I had such a great time letting the creative juices flow with his cool props and even cooler attitude!

Batter Up!

I was finally able to make it to my favorite munchkins’ baseball games! First up, batting for the Braves, Graham – a world-class hitter with major focus. The next game featured Lucas, a top-notch first baseman that wouldn’t let anyone pass him to second. What a great way to spend Armed Forces Day – with some good ol’ American baseball!

Nobody Knows What the Nose Knows

For my birthday this year, Bryce went all out! On top of a skydiving trip, TV sound bar (more of a gift for himself…haha), and a new camera bag, he gave me a really fun wide-angle lens. I figured the best way to test it out is on some of my favorite subjects – the animals at Paws for Reflection Ranch! Meet Ellie Mae (pig), Cooper (hedgehog), and Dusty (chinchilla):

All I Want for Christmas is…a Cone?

This Christmas was pretty eventful. Bryce was in town for an entire week – the best gift a girl could ask for! It was wonderful spending time with family and friends. Plus, we had the opportunity to just spend some time at home together. What a blessing! Of course, there is no holiday without a little drama. Our fur baby, Maggie, took a horse hoof to the head on Christmas morning. After a trip to the emergency vet, we spent Christmas evening convincing Maggie that the cone was her friend. Poor thing! Two weeks later, we were finally able to remove the stitches, and the torturous cone was no more. Definitely a holiday to remember. Just had to snatch a 2013 Christmas photo by the tree!

Just Watch Her Grow

I absolutely cannot believe how much little Reese has grown in these last few months! I had the pleasure of catching that contagious smile in her adorable Christmas dress last weekend. We stopped at a local area in Highland Park that was full of Fall color (and many other folks with the same photo shoot idea). I am so honored to be able to capture the moments as she continues to grow up. Before I know it, she’ll be walking and talking!

Soaking in the Fall Colors

The trees are full of yellows and reds….It is finally starting to look (and feel) like Fall – my absolutely favorite season! Now that cooler weather is upon us, stores are ready to decorate for the holidays. I’m not quite ready to think about Christmas lists and shopping, but the colors of Fall sure do make for pretty Christmas card pictures.

We ventured to Arbor Hills Nature Preserve to snap a few options for their card this year. As the boys rode their scooters, and the adults hiked around the park, we found lots of Fall color to capture. Plus, all of this picture-taking gave these munchkins plenty of smile practice for when they are ring bearers in my wedding in less than a year. I am so excited to have gained such incredible family!

Celebrating Life

In October, Heaven gained a beautiful angel, Elizabeth Seremet – a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. My whole family gathered together in Florida to celebrate 100 years of such an amazing life. She was a woman that loved to live in the moment, dance, and sing – no matter the occasion. Certainly an incredible lady and a warm heart we will all miss!

During our impromptu family reunion, I had a little impromptu photo session of my cousin and her super cute family. The backyard of my Aunt and Uncle’s home made for a great spot to snap a few shots…
